Today's weather is so bloody hot. Urgh.. I'm having a sunburn right now, even though I've put on sunblock. My face is so sensitve and dry, it's starting to be patchy now. Sigh... I've noticed one thing about my face. It's very particular when comes to sunblock. If I sweat, definitely the sweat will mix with the sunblock. I think there's a chemical reaction or something, coz the next day, it becomes itchy, rough and reddish. Like a lobster. Hideous. Not the lobster, mind you, it's my face. I've a nickname when my face becomes reddish. The name's Lobster... Miss Lobster. Hahahaha.... How cool is that.
I've tried Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock SPF50 PA+++. It stated suitable for sensitive skin, so I bought it. Used is for several days, then one fine day, I was out in the sun for quite some time, pop out came Miss Lobster. Too bad... coz the reviews for this in http://www.makeupalley.com/ is not bad. Alas, it does not suit me. But I have no problems with Sunplay though. I use Sunplay Skin Aqua UV Moisture Gel SPF25 PA++. Sweat or no, it does not cause any problems for my skin. But I used it on my body now, coz I use Envyderm sunblock from Blunnis. It's a tinted sunblock. I need to be careful with this one as well, does not like my sweat that much. hahaha... And then there's also Etude House Moistfull Make-up Base SPF22 PA++ (Green color). This is good. No problem so far.
As you can see, I don't use foundation. I usually put on sunblock and make-up base in green, to counter the redness I have. If the make-up base have sunblock in it, then after wash and moisturiser, it's the make-up base. That's it. Putting on foundation makes my skin suffocate, it's a no-no for me. Let it breathe... you'll look younger in the long run as well.. ;)
Maybe I should write a review on skincare and make-up I've use...
